The Management Performance Report

10 Point Agenda 2007-08 Performance Status

The College President reported at the beginning of the SY 2007-08 that his Second Administrative Term shall be guided by the 10-point agenda summarized as follows:

1. On Union Christian College Going to Business, (a) all income generating potentials were consolidated under one center for management, planning and control and (b) inventory system was upgraded.

2.  As to the Organization of the Alumni Centennial Task Force, a program of activities until 2010 – Centennial Jubilee Celebration has been prepared.

3. The Center for Alternative Education Development was developed purely as learning and skills training unit offering Caregiving, Health Care Sciences, Ladderized Nursing, and waiting for approval is Housekeeping, Bartending, and Food Preparation.

4. On Quality Enhancement, (a) the requirements for the Renewal of the Deregulated status of Union Christian College has been submitted to the Commission of Higher Education; (b) 3 Academic Programs for Accreditation and Re-accreditation; (c) the College of Teacher Education has been awarded by the DEP-CHEd as a Center for Teacher Training Education; and (d) a strong research department is now in place.

5. For the Centennial Jubilee Programs/Projects, (a) Rolling Service Plan 2007 – 2010 has been prepared; (b) the construction of the fourth floor of the SRC Bldg for Health and ICT laboratories is on-going; and (c) a Centennial Celebration Grand Committee has been created.

6. On Centennial Infrastructure, there is an on-going construction of laboratories for Nursing, HRM and Health Care.

7. There is an on-going Special Centennial Fund Drive.

8. The Inclusion Program for students with special learning needs has been in place.

9. An Institutional Development, Planning and Accreditation Unit has been created.

10. The Union Christian College Centennial Cooperative has been created with services that include financial assistance identification of income generating projects and putting up Centennial Ville, a housing project for the members which is under negotiation.#

  6. grantee of PGMA scholarship for LEP

  7. envisions to establish Assessment Center for Region I – TESDA program

  8. established social labs for different depressed barangays

  9. NSTP service learning unit – INGAT YAMAN

  10. observed 5 – S as its standard operating procedure
